Nov 08, 2011· Lincoln''s 232 is classified E71T-8 and has toughness at -20 F. E71T-8 is the only self shielded wire that we permit and we only use it for duct work. We have welded over it with E71T-1. As per brimstoner, I would not have used Lincoln''s 232 welding filler for the repair.
